Maundy Thursday is the fifth day of Holy Week, the day during Holy Week that commemorates the Washing of the Feet (Maundy) and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles, as described in the canonical gospels. Following the Eucharist will be a Solemn Procession of the Blessed Sacrament to the Altar of Repose and the Stripping of the Altar. Immediately following the service, "The Watch", an all night prayer vigil, will begin at the Altar of Repose and continue until noon on Good Friday.
